Competitors and potential competitors – registration is open for the Junior Mental Calculation World Championship 2018! All information can be found here.
The event will be held on the 21st – 24th September 2018 (one week before the Mental Calculation World Cup)
This year it will be held in Bielefeld (Germany).
Applications are accepted until 30th May 2018.
Since 2008 this international championship in mental calculation has taken place. Caroline Merkel and the team welcome all young people around the globe aged up to 19 to participate and challenge their skills.
The aim of the event is to share knowledge and methods with the participants. To facilitate this, training will take place to prepare as well as for the competition. This year the training will be coordinated by the established international mental calculators Jan van Koningsveld, Willem Bouman, Michael Rother, George Lane and Daniel Timms.
Entrants will compete in their age category:
- up to 11 years
- 12 – 14 years
- 15 – 19 years
