Get ready for the Mind Sports Olympiad 2018! All events are open to everybody and cost £10 per entry.
The event will be held on the 19th – 27th August 2018 at JW3 (Finchley Road) London UK. A huge number of competitions are contested as part of the Mind Sports Olympiad and it is a great opportunity to try something new. Two particular highlights are:
Mental Calculation World Championship
This is a 3-hour paper including a full variety of calculation challenges, from addition to inexact deep roots, and suitable for everyone from beginners to world champions.
The event is created using the Pegasus simulator – so this is recommended for your preparation.

Mental Calculations Blitz
This is similar to the aforementioned Mental Calculations World Championship, but consists of 4 (short) rounds of 25 minutes, and the questions are simpler. It also uses Pegasus for the questions, and is especially suitable for beginners or as a warm-up to the World Championship the next morning.
