This tool allows you to practise adding numbers that are not visible, by generating addition calculations and speaking them to you.
How to Use this Tool:
- Use a computer with a keyboard (such as a standard laptop) rather than a phone/tablet, to make input easier.
- Select the required setting from the drop-down menu. The first question will begin immediately.
- Ensure that your audio volume is sufficient to hear the sound.
- Type the answer as fast as possible when the question appears, and press [Enter] (faster for you than the “Go!” button).
- The statistics will appear. Press [Enter] again to move to the next question.
- Continue for as many questions as you like. I recommend that each set would be 20–25 questions.

Further Notes
- These tools are available to students working with me (Daniel Timms) as part of a coaching program or the Mental Math Foundations.
- You can see improvement in just 5 minutes per day of focused practice.
- Keep a track of your performance—just like an athlete would—to see improvements and plateaus. I can provide a tracking spreadsheet.
