In the qualification phase of the competition, participants will be given 12 questions, and each question has a time limit of 15 seconds. For some of the questions this might be easy but some will be very difficult!
There are 50 marks in total, and I expect that most participants will get around half correct.
To help with preparation, below there is a sample PowerPoint presentation with the questions so you can try it for yourself!
The difficulty is for the Juniors 2 category. All age categories will have the same format and standard of questions, but the questions will be slightly easier for Juniors 1 and slightly harder for Seniors.
Seniors may also get cube roots with answers up to 3 digits.
